Worst photobomb ever: this man caught his own assassin on film!
Right after midnight on January 1, 2011, Councilman Reynaldo Dagsa took a photo of his wife, daughter, and an elderly female relative. However, he got more than he bargained for, inadvertently capturing the likeness of a man leveling a gun at him. A fraction of a second later, he was shot in the chest and arm. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. New Year's fireworks drowned the sound of gunfire, and the shooter and his two lookouts fled into the night.
His family, however, was astonished by the picture and the clarity of the gunman. They took the picture to the authorities who used it to identify Dagsa's assassin as Michael Gonzales, a suspected car thief who Dagsa had previously sent to jail but was out on bail. He was quickly apprehended and brought into custody.
The picture was later selected by photo editors of 'TIME' magazine as among the world's "best viral photos" of 2011.
