Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson now believes failure is critical in order for self-growth. But in his senior year of high-school, he had an injury that cost him his professional football career.
While his friends signed contacts for the NFL and he didn't get chosen, he battled depression, being extremely broke and living back with his family.
After he recovered, he turned that failure into positivity by attempting to work and sign a contract into wrestling.
It seems to have worked out for the better, as he became a famous, influential wrestler and became rich!
With humbleness still in-tact, The Rock considers failure absolutely crucial in order for one to successful remain humble and become successful.
He welcomes failure every once in a while to rejuvenate himself and get back on track. Talk about optimism!
